Adventure & Training Days are structured, trainer-led days designed for dogs who thrive on movement, learning, and purposeful engagement. Held at Ted’s Place Adventure & Training Park, these days combine outdoor exploration, real-world training foundations, and carefully managed social experiences within a controlled environment.
Set across 60 acres, Ted’s Place offers dogs the opportunity to move, explore, and learn in a way that supports both physical and mental wellbeing. Dogs also have access to off-lead time in Ted’s Place private, fully fenced 2-acre dog park, allowing for safe freedom of movement, play, and decompression. This is not free-for-all play or doggy daycare. Each day follows a clear structure, balancing adventure, training, enrichment, and rest to help dogs remain regulated, focused, and receptive to learning.
Dogs participate in guided outdoor exploration, structured play, and training sessions that reinforce real-life skills such as recall, loose lead walking, down stays, neutrality around other dogs and responding reliably to cues in stimulating environments. Social interactions are supervised and intentional, ensuring dogs gain positive experiences without becoming overwhelmed.
Numbers are intentionally kept small, so each dog receives individual attention and support. This allows us to tailor the day to the dogs present, adjusting activities, training intensity, and rest periods as needed.
Pick-up and drop-off is available across Birdwood, Williamstown, Angaston, Tanunda, Eden Valley, Springton, and Mount Pleasant, with the option of home collection or designated pick-up and drop-off points for clients outside these areas.

Term 1: 2 February – 30 March
No Adventure on 9 March due to the Adelaide Cup public holiday
Term 2: 27 April – 29 June
No Adventure on 11 May due to trainer availability

Please note: Owners are required to supply their dog’s own food for the day to prevent stomach upset and maintain dietary consistency. We recommend Prime100 as a suitable option for training and feeding during outings.
